Our fair on June 3rd was a much quieter event than usual, coming just one week after the Summer Fairs week, and on the weekend of the Diamond Jubilee and the day of the Thames Pageant!
Our hardy regulars were queuing outside the Edward VII suite despite the rain, and the travel difficulties. At opening time there was the usual rush to enter, with visitors heading for their favourite dealers. Many exhibitors reported good sales, and the visitors, though fewer in number, were keen to buy so all-in-all a better than expected fair!
