Bloomsbury Ephemera Fair

Next Ephemera Fair will take place on MARCH 24TH 2024.

PLEASE CHECK THE DATES OF THE EPHEMERA FAIR AS IT WILL ONLY TAKE PLACE FOUR TIMES IN 2024.  Etc Fairs’ London Ephemera Fairs are held at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury, and will continue in 2024 however the fair will only take place four times, due to viability and venue issues. The last fair for 2023 has already taken place so make a note of the above date for 2024 for the first fair of the year, which will also feature the popular Pulp & Paperback Fair!  The fair has established itself as the London venue for postcards, ephemera, books and more, and although not as frequent, it is still very popular with exhibitors and visitors.

The sheer array of material on offer can be amazing, including collectable postcards, manuscripts, books, maps, prints, posters, photographs, pulps, paperback and much more, if it’s collectable the Bloomsbury Ephemera Fairs will have it! With so much vintage material on offer many visitors stay all day to make sure they see everything that our exhibitors have on display.

If you are a seasoned collector, want to start collecting, or have an academic or other specific interest why not visit the Bloomsbury Ephemera Fair and see what’s on offer.

Please note that fairs will be taking place at the Holiday Inn in London’s Bloomsbury. Read more here.

London’s favourite ephemera fair

Whether you want a postcard, photograph, collectable or rare book, manuscript, map, print or piece of ephemera the fair is a veritable treasure trove. Come along to the next event, and see for yourself!

All fairs have a range of ephemera, manuscripts, antiquarian books, second hand books, out of print books, maps, prints and photographs, with the Ephemera Fair having a large contingent of Postcard Dealers.

Bloomsbury is an area in the very heart of London, historically famous for its association with the arts; the Bloomsbury Group, the [lesser known] Bloomsbury Gang and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood all made it their base at one time or another, and the British Museum sits at its centre, formerly housing the British Library Reading Room.

Religion and academia have their champions & bastions in Bloomsbury too, with Nicholas Hawksmoor’s St George’s Church to the south, and the  The Bloomsbury Colleges (Birkbeck,  SOAS, et al) and UCL to name but a few of the venues for academic excellence that pepper this area of London.

Bloomsbury is also extremely well-placed in London for public transport, with the famous main stations of Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston all within relatively easy walking distance or by tube/bus. Russell Square tube station, on the Piccadilly Line, is just a couple of minutes away from the Holiday Inn by foot, and Tottenham Court Road tube station, at one end of the world-renowned Oxford Street shopping area. For more information please visit the Transport for London website.

Should you wish to drive, the congestion charge is now payable 7 days a week, however there is free meter parking on many roads around the venue, you may have to pay the ULEZ charge, do check on the Transport for London website with your vehicle registration number.
