First edition thus. 2 parts in 1, 24mo., pp. 576; 432. Greek and Latin. Each part with its own title-page, each with woodcut printer’s device. The titlepage of vol. II. reads: Carminum poetarum novem, lyricæ poeseo os principu u, fragmenta. First title-page a little grubby, very occasional underlining, one tiny note. Sporadic faint dampstain radiating from upper fore-edge corner. Later brown calf neatly rebacked retaining label, edges sprinkled red. A little rubbed, some chips to fore-edge, ffep half excised, endpapers toned at edges, inner hinges neatly repaired, very good.
