Etc Fairs exhibitor Bloomsbury Auctions are currently welcoming consignments for their specialist auction of Modern Books and Works on Paper, taking place in their London rooms on the 29th of September.

The sale will comprise Modern First Editions, Children’s & Illustrated Books, Private Press & Limited Editions and Works on Paper, and already includes signed Beatrix Potter editions, an archive of original artwork from Ladybird and other early 20th century publisher’s of children’s books (see above), the first edition of Kafka’s Der Prozess [The Trial], and a group of first and other significant editions of Harry Potter titles, including signed books and original artwork.

If you are interested in consigning to this sale and have items you think suitable, the current minimum Lot value is £200 and closing date is mid-August. Bloomsbury Auctions are offering visitors to the Etc Fairs websites a special one-off commission rate of 8.5% all-in, with no other charges.
