At this Sunday’s Bloomsbury Book Fair we welcome our Military Friends! Following on from our previous successful collaborations.
Alongside other works on Indian Army military history Turner Donovan will be exhibiting a copy of
the exceptionally rare “History of the Second Panjab Cavalry from 1949 to 1886” (Kegan, Paul, Trench & Co., London, 1888). An outstanding feature of this work is the inclusion of 55 fine, fully captioned group and single portrait photographs of the officers and senior non-commissioned officers of the
regiment.
Offered at £1650 in its original half red morocco binding, a little worm marking to the cloth (as so often with books that have ‘served’ out East), but still a very presentable copy
Doors open from 10am until 4pm, admission is £2 until 12.30 and thereafter is Free! Come along and enjoy a day of book browsing!
