Despite general bad weather and floods nationwide the Bloomsbury Book Fair on February 9th was a very busy fair. The queue at 10 o’clock prior to opening completely filled the foyer of the hotel and ‘snaked’ into the corridor! Exhibitors reported good sales, and feedback from customers was very positive about the quality and quantity of stock available in the room.
The Trial Fair offer we are running continues to attract new dealers every month, with some of those now becoming regulars, so there’s always new faces to see alongside all our regulars.
The next Bloomsbury Book Fair is on Sunday March 9th, but if you can’t wait that long then why not visit our Bloomsbury Book & Ephemera Fair on February 23rd, we have a fabulous mix of books, maps, prints, ephemera and now postcard dealers.
The fair continues to be popular with both exhibitors and visitors, and 2014 sees our first ‘themed’ fair, in August, running within our normal Bloomsbury Book Fair will be a specialist Military Fair to commemorate 100 years since World War I. Bookings are good, and there is lots of interest in this fair.
