Our fair on Sunday 10th November was very busy with dealers reporting very good sales, and visitors telling us how great the variety and quality of material on offer was.
We had some new dealers who had taken up our TRIAL FAIR OFFER, plus all our usual regulars and occasional exhibitors. The most pleasing comment made is that visitors and dealers to the fair do actually want to ‘do business’ and buy and sell, although there are browsers, a vast majority of people are there to buy, which is extremely good news for the Bloomsbury Book Fair and its future! Micheal Kemp, Stand 48, and a regular exhibitor to the fair, always has great stock, sold a Collection of London Pencil Drawings (about 50), by Howard Penton (circa 1905) for £4,200, Mike commented ‘the sale was to a member of the public, and not a trade sale, showing that visitors are serious purchasers at this fair!’
Why not visit us on December 8th and see for yourself!
