Fair Review January 13th

Sunday 13th January saw the first Bloomsbury Book Fair of 2013. We had over 100 dealers exhibiting, which included all our regular Exhibitors plus some new faces, which is a continuing and welcome trend. The fair continues to be popular with both the trade and collector, and general enthusiast as it offers great diversity of good quality material, from the items worth a few pounds to books of thousands. December’s fair saw a sale of £18,000!

There was the usual early morning queue outside the Galleon Suite prior to opening, with visitors eager to visit their favourite sellers, and the day saw a steady stream of people coming through the door. We hope to see the fair continue to grow in 2013, it is the largest monthly book fair in the country, at the fair you will see dealers in old, antiquarian and out of print books, alongside ephemera, map and print specialists, bookbinders and auctioneers all on a monthly basis!

Be sure to visit in 2013, our next fair is February 10th. If you can’t wait that long, don’t forget our Bloomsbury Ephemera Fair on January 27th, also at the same venue, which is a smaller event, but still with a good mix of ephemera and books on offer. Details at Bloomsbury Ephemera Fair
